here’s what i baked this time. a heart-shaped chocolate cake with blueberries, little rosebuds and powdered sugar.

i love how the pink roses look against the chocolate, especially with the blueberries tucked between them. decorating a tiny cake is so fun because you can actually spend time on every little detail.

put the before and after into these journal pages too. i like having somewhere to keep all of this, even if it’s just a cake i made at home. she deserves her own page ♡

My New Crochet Obsession 🧶

randomly decided to crochet a bunny even though I’ve never crocheted before. I finished the head yesterday and started working on the arms today. So far, it’s actually going better than I expected

 still have to check the pattern every five seconds, and sometimes I have no idea if I’m doing it right, but I’m having fun. I can’t wait to finish it and see the final result

my weird sleep schedule

my weird sleep schedule

I don’t think I have a sleep schedule anymore. I just sleep for a few hours ... sit at my PC, and start doing whatever suddenly feels important

Sometimes I’m designing something for my business. Other times I’m changing one tiny detail on my blog for three hours because apparently the shade of pink is a life or death decision. Then I’ll get distracted, start another random project, and somehow the entire day or night is gone

Eventually, I get sleepy again and take a completely unplanned nap. Is it still called a nap if I don’t know what time it is or what day I woke up on?

At this point, I genuinely can’t remember the last time I slept for eight hours straight. My life is basically sleep for a bit → wake up → open the PC → create random things → lose track of time → random nap → repeat

It’s definitely not healthy, but I have to admit there’s something fun about waking up with no plan and ending the day with a new design, a half-finished blog feature, and absolutely no idea when I’m supposed to sleep again

♡ LATELY, I’VE BEEN BAKING

 

Lately, I’ve been spending a lot more time in the kitchen baking random little things, and I think it’s slowly becoming one of my favorite hobbies

There’s something so comforting about putting on music, making a mess of the kitchen, and waiting to see if whatever I made actually turns out cute lol

Recently I made this little heart-shaped cake with pink frosting, sprinkles, and dried roses. It definitely wasn’t perfect, but that honestly made me love it even more. It looked very homemade and very me

I’ve also been making cookies lately. I’m still trying to figure out the perfect recipe because I want them super soft and gooey in the middle with lots of chocolate chips. Obviously, taste-testing is the most important part of the process

I never really thought I’d become a baking person, but I love having a little project to do when I’m bored or just want to stay home. Plus, there’s something very main character about baking a cake while listening to music in your kitchen

Anyway… expect more baking experiments on here because I’m definitely not done yet. ♡
